Gakusen Toshi Asterisk

In a world where a catastrophic event known as the Invertia destroyed cities and gave rise to a new generation of humans with supernatural abilities called Genestella, the city of Rikka—also known as Asterisk—serves as a massive arena. Within this city, six prestigious academies host the Festa, a series of high-stakes combat tournaments where students compete for fame, fortune, and the fulfillment of their deepest wishes. The story follows Ayato Amagiri, a transfer student to Seidoukan Academy, who arrives in Asterisk searching for his missing sister. Upon his arrival, Ayato accidentally witnesses the 'Petalblaze Witch' Julis-Alexia von Riessfeld in a compromising situation, leading to a duel that is interrupted by an assassination attempt. Realizing they share common goals and a need for powerful allies, Ayato and Julis form a partnership. As they navigate the political intrigue of the academies and the dangerous secrets hidden within the city, they must master their abilities to survive the brutal competition of the Festa and uncover the truth behind Ayato's sister's disappearance.
