Galema: Anak ni Zuma is a Philippine fantasy drama series based on the classic komiks character created by Jim Fernandez. The story follows Galema, a young woman born with a twin snake attached to her back, a curse inherited from her father, Zuma, a powerful and immortal demigod. Despite her monstrous lineage, Galema grows up to be a kind-hearted and compassionate woman, struggling to live a normal life while hiding her secret from society. As she navigates adulthood, Galema faces constant persecution from those who fear her, as well as the manipulative schemes of her father, who seeks to use her to fulfill his dark ambitions. The series explores themes of identity, the struggle between good and evil, and the unconditional love of a mother, as Galema fights to protect her loved ones and prove that her humanity is defined by her actions rather than her cursed heritage.
