Based on the classic cartoon character created by Jay Ward, 'George of the Jungle' follows the misadventures of George, a well-meaning but utterly clumsy, vine-swinging man who was raised by apes in the deep jungles of Central Africa. Alongside his intelligent and loyal talking gorilla companion Ape, his cowardly pet elephant Shep who acts like a dog, and the wise-cracking toucan Tookie Tookie, George constantly finds himself crashing head-first into trouble. The series brings fresh comedic energy as George tries to protect his jungle home and naive animal friends from various poachers, eccentric explorers, and environmental threats. Despite his sheer lack of common sense and frequent collisions with heavy timber, George's pure heart, immense physical strength, and infectious optimism always save the day, proving that enthusiasm often outweighs intellect.
