Gideon's Crossing is an American medical drama television series created by Paul Attanasio that originally aired on ABC from October 10, 2000, to April 16, 2001. The series stars Andre Braugher as Dr. Ben Gideon, a brilliant, unconventional, and fiercely dedicated oncologist and professor of medicine at the fictional West Coast Hospital. The show follows Dr. Gideon and his team of diverse fellows as they tackle complex, rare, and ethically challenging medical cases, often pushing the boundaries of traditional medicine while confronting their own personal and professional limitations. The narrative focuses heavily on the intricate dynamics between Dr. Gideon and his eager yet overwhelmed fellowship students.
