Girl Meets World

Set in New York City, 'Girl Meets World' follows Riley Matthews, an optimistic middle-schooler and the daughter of Cory and Topanga Matthews from the iconic 90s sitcom 'Boy Meets World'. Alongside her fiercely loyal best friend Maya Hart, her crush Lucas Friar, and the eccentric Farkle Minkus, Riley navigates the tumultuous waters of growing up, first crushes, identity, and the complexities of friendship. Under the watchful eye of Cory—who serves as her history teacher—Riley learns valuable life lessons about morality, empathy, and resilience. Throughout its three-season run, the series addresses important social issues such as cyberbullying, learning disabilities, social anxiety, and parental separation, while balancing classic Disney Channel comedic tropes with heartfelt nostalgia. As the characters transition from middle school to high school, they confront the inevitable changes in their relationships and discover their own unique paths in the world.
