Go Princess Go

Go Princess Go follows the story of Zhang Peng, a modern-day playboy who, after falling into a swimming pool while fleeing from ex-girlfriends, wakes up in the body of Zhang Pengpeng, the Crown Princess of the ancient kingdom of Qi. Trapped in a woman's body in a historical era, he must navigate the complex and dangerous politics of the imperial harem while attempting to maintain his masculine identity and desires. As Zhang Pengpeng, he initially struggles to adapt to his new reality, often clashing with the cold and calculating Crown Prince Qi Sheng. However, as he maneuvers through court intrigue and attempts to climb the social ladder to become the Empress Dowager, he finds himself developing unexpected feelings for the Prince. The series is celebrated for its satirical tone, low-budget aesthetic, and gender-bending comedic premise that challenges traditional historical drama tropes.
