Good Girls Revolt

Set in 1969, Good Girls Revolt follows a group of young, ambitious female researchers at 'News of the Week' magazine who are tired of being relegated to the background while their male counterparts receive all the credit and bylines. Inspired by the burgeoning women's liberation movement, the women begin to organize a landmark class-action lawsuit against the publication for gender discrimination, challenging the systemic sexism embedded in the workplace and their personal lives. The series explores the intersection of professional ambition, shifting social norms, and the personal sacrifices required to fight for equality. As the women navigate the complexities of the late 1960s, they must balance their desire for professional recognition with the risks of challenging the status quo, all while dealing with the evolving dynamics of their relationships and the changing landscape of American journalism.
