Grandpa Over Flowers Investigation Team follows three brilliant, handsome young detectives in their twenties—Lee Joon-hyuk, Han Won-bin, and Kang Seok-gi—who suddenly and inexplicably age overnight into elderly men in their seventies following a mysterious medical accident. Now grappling with wrinkled skin, fragile bones, and failing stamina, they must continue working for the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Alongside young rookie officer Lee Min-woo, the only one who treats them with respect and helps conceal their condition, the unorthodox team tackles bizarre criminal cases while desperately searching for a cure to reverse their sudden aging process. Blending elements of supernatural mystery, slapstick comedy, and heartfelt drama, the series explores themes of identity, aging, and brotherhood. As the veteran minds trapped in elderly bodies navigate the physical limitations of their new reality, they must also deal with office politics, skepticism from colleagues, and personal relationships that are upended by their transformations. Balancing high-stakes investigations with quirky comedic moments, the show delivers a unique spin on the traditional police procedural.
