Haifuri: High School Fleet

Set in an alternate Japan where most of the country's land has been submerged due to plate tectonic shifts, the nation relies on 'Blue Mermaids'—an elite group of women tasked with protecting the sea lanes. The story follows Akeno Misaki and Moeka China, two childhood friends who enroll at the Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School to fulfill their dream of becoming Blue Mermaids. During their first training exercise aboard the destroyer Harekaze, the crew is suddenly accused of mutiny after a series of mysterious events and a malfunctioning training shell. Now branded as fugitives, Akeno and her inexperienced crew must navigate the treacherous seas, evade the military, and uncover the truth behind a sinister conspiracy threatening the safety of the world's oceans.
