Set in the glamorous, fast-paced world of 1970s and 1980s New York City, the biographical drama series follows the meteoric rise and fall of the legendary American fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick. Known simply as Halston, he single-handedly builds a worldwide fashion empire synonymous with luxury, sex, status, and fame. However, the relentless pressure to maintain his visionary brand leads to a tumultuous lifestyle fueled by parties at Studio 54, volatile business partnerships, and his own self-destructive tendencies. The series explores his fierce loyalty to his inner circle—including muse Elsa Peretti and close friend Liza Minnelli—as well as the bitter corporate battles that eventually threaten to strip away the very name he worked so hard to make famous.
