Heaven? Gokuraku Restoran

Based on the manga by Taya Hiroshi, 'Heaven? Gokuraku Restoran' follows the eccentric and hedonistic Kanako Kurokan, who opens a French restaurant named 'Lorniere' not for profit or to please customers, but solely so she can indulge in fine dining and wine whenever she pleases. Situated in an unusual location far away from any town or bustling station, the restaurant attracts a mismatched group of employees who must deal with Kanako's whimsical demands, absurd ideas, and the chaotic realities of running a failing business. As the staff—including the earnest former waiter Kaname Iga and the former sommelier Tsutsumi—navigate the bizarre daily operations, the series blends comedy, gourmet food culture, and quirky character dynamics. Despite the seemingly doomed business model, the restaurant becomes a peculiar sanctuary for its eccentric owner and the dedicated employees who somehow manage to keep it afloat.
