HiGH&LOW: The Story of S.W.O.R.D.

Following the sudden disappearance of the legendary gang Mugen, the area once controlled by them—known as SWORD—is now divided among five powerful, rival organizations. Each gang, represented by the letters S.W.O.R.D. (Sannoh Rengokai, White Rascals, Oya Kohkoh, Rude Boys, and Daruma Ikka), fiercely protects their own territory while maintaining a fragile balance of power. The series explores the complex dynamics, loyalties, and violent clashes that erupt as these groups navigate the power vacuum left by Mugen. As the story unfolds, the gangs are forced to confront not only each other but also the encroaching threat of the Kuryu Group, a powerful yakuza syndicate looking to seize control of the region. The narrative weaves together high-octane action, brotherhood, and the personal struggles of the leaders and members of each faction, ultimately building toward a massive conflict that will determine the fate of the entire SWORD district.
