Hjerte til hjerte: Spelemann is a Norwegian mockumentary series that follows the fictionalized versions of real-life television personalities Linn Skåber and Trond Fausa Aurvåg. The series centers on their desperate and often humiliating attempts to remain relevant and secure prestigious roles within the Norwegian entertainment industry, specifically focusing on the lead-up to the annual Spellemannprisen (the Norwegian Grammy Awards). As the duo navigates the cutthroat world of show business, their vanity, social awkwardness, and lack of self-awareness lead to a series of cringe-inducing encounters. The show serves as a sharp, satirical critique of celebrity culture, highlighting the absurdity of fame and the lengths to which people will go to maintain their status in the public eye.
