Homecoming

Homecoming is a psychological thriller series that centers on Heidi Bergman, a caseworker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, a facility helping soldiers transition back to civilian life. The narrative unfolds across two timelines: one where Heidi is working at the facility under the supervision of a demanding boss, and another years later where she is living a quiet life as a waitress, seemingly having forgotten her time at the center. As she is approached by a Department of Defense auditor, she begins to uncover the unsettling truth about the facility's true purpose. The series explores themes of memory, trauma, and corporate manipulation. As the mystery deepens, it becomes clear that the Homecoming program was not designed to help soldiers, but rather to facilitate a more sinister agenda involving the pharmaceutical company Geist Group. The show is noted for its unique visual style, utilizing different aspect ratios to distinguish between the two timelines, and its tense, atmospheric storytelling.
