Hungry!

Hungry! follows the story of Eisuke Yamate, a talented musician who has spent his life chasing his dream of becoming a professional rock star. However, upon turning 30, he decides to abandon his musical career to fulfill the dying wish of his mother: to take over her French restaurant, Le Petit Chou. Eisuke must trade his guitar for a chef's knife, navigating the high-pressure world of professional cooking while dealing with the loss of his band and the skepticism of those around him. As Eisuke attempts to transform the restaurant into his own vision, he faces intense competition from a rival restaurant chain and struggles to manage his eclectic staff. The series explores themes of passion, transition, and the pursuit of dreams, as Eisuke discovers that the discipline and creativity required in the kitchen are not so different from the rock music he once loved. Along the way, he finds unexpected support and romance, ultimately learning that it is never too late to reinvent oneself.
