Idiot

Based on the classic novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky, the series follows Prince Lev Nikolayevich Myshkin, a man of profound innocence and kindness who returns to Russia after spending years in a Swiss sanatorium for the treatment of his epilepsy. Upon his arrival in St. Petersburg, he is thrust into the complex, cynical, and often cruel world of the Russian aristocracy, where his absolute honesty and lack of guile are perceived by many as idiocy. As Myshkin becomes entangled in the lives of the beautiful but tormented Nastasya Filippovna and the passionate, jealous Rogozhin, he finds himself at the center of a tragic love triangle. His attempts to navigate the social machinations of the elite reveal the moral decay of society, as his genuine compassion ultimately leads to devastating consequences for everyone he tries to save.
