Kim Min-kyu is a wealthy, successful young man who suffers from a rare and severe allergy to human contact, causing him to go into anaphylactic shock whenever he touches another person. Because of this, he lives a life of extreme isolation. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is introduced to Aji 3, a highly advanced humanoid robot created by a team of genius researchers led by his ex-girlfriend, Jo Ji-ah. However, when the robot suffers a technical malfunction, the team desperately hires the real Jo Ji-ah to pose as the robot to keep the project alive. As Min-kyu begins to interact with who he believes is a machine, he finds himself developing genuine feelings for her, leading to a complex emotional journey that challenges his perceptions of humanity, trust, and the possibility of overcoming his condition through love.
