In Security is a workplace comedy that follows the dysfunctional team of security guards working at a struggling, low-budget shopping mall. The series centers on Kevin, a well-meaning but hopelessly inept security guard who dreams of being a high-stakes law enforcement officer, and his cynical partner, who is just trying to make it to retirement without any major incidents. Together, they navigate the absurd daily challenges of mall life, from dealing with eccentric shoplifters to managing the bizarre demands of the mall's management. As the series progresses, the team faces the constant threat of the mall being shut down or replaced by a modern development. The comedy stems from their misguided attempts to prove their worth and maintain order in a place that is rapidly descending into chaos. Through their camaraderie and shared failures, the show explores themes of ambition, mediocrity, and the strange bonds formed in dead-end jobs.
