Following the explosive events of the first season, Kafka Hibino's true identity as Kaiju No. 8 has been exposed to the Japan Defense Force, shifting his status from a hopeful recruit to a high-stakes prisoner and strategic asset. As more intelligent and coordinated humanoid kaiju emerge, threatening major cities with unprecedented devastation, Kafka must prove his loyalty to humanity on the front lines while controlling the monster raging inside him.
