Kara Mia

Kara Mia is a Philippine television series broadcast by GMA Network that follows the extraordinary lives of Kara and Mia, sisters who suffer from craniopagus parasitica, meaning they share one body with two distinct heads. Born to a loving mother, Ruth, who struggles to protect them from public ridicule and cruel superstition, the sisters navigate the trials of youth, high school, and romance while harboring vastly different personalities. Kara is kind, compassionate, and optimistic, whereas Mia is ambitious, rebellious, and deeply resentful of their physical condition. The central conflict of the series deepens with the arrival of supernatural elements, family betrayals, and deep-seated grudges originating from their parents' past. As they grow older, their physical bond complicates every aspect of their lives—especially when they fall for different men. The sisters must learn to balance their individuality with their inescapable physical connection, ultimately discovering the true meaning of sisterhood, sacrifice, and unconditional love amidst a backdrop of drama and fantasy.
