Kayıp Şehir

Kayıp Şehir follows the Toprak family as they migrate from a small Black Sea town to the sprawling, unforgiving metropolis of Istanbul following the death of their patriarch. Led by the resilient mother, Meryem, the family struggles to adapt to the harsh economic and social realities of the big city, living in one of its poorest neighborhoods. Each family member—including the ambitious Kadir, the vulnerable İsmail, and the fiercely independent Zehra—faces their own moral and personal trials, intersecting with modern urban struggles, crime, and survival. As the family tries to stay afloat, they cross paths with Ayla, a young woman living a very different life in Istanbul's glamorous yet dark underbelly. The series offers a gritty, unflinching look at the clash between traditional values and modern urban decay, highlighting themes of poverty, migration, discrimination, and the bonds of family in the face of insurmountable odds.
