Keizoku 2: SPEC follows the eccentric and highly intelligent Saya Toma, a police officer with an IQ of 201, and her partner Takeru Sebumi, a stoic and skilled former member of the Special Investigation Team. They work for the 'Mishou' (Unidentified Crimes Unit) within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, a division tasked with solving cold cases that are deemed too bizarre or impossible for traditional police work. As the series progresses, the duo discovers that many of these strange cases are linked to individuals known as 'SPEC holders'—people who possess supernatural abilities. While Toma and Sebumi attempt to uncover the truth behind these mysterious powers and the shadowy organizations seeking to exploit them, they must navigate internal police politics and the moral complexities of a world where human evolution has taken a dangerous, superhuman turn.
