Overview

Set against the backdrop of the Joseon era, 'Kingdom: Ashin of the North' is a special episode of the acclaimed zombie thriller series 'Kingdom'. It serves as a sidequel that explores the origins of the resurrection plant—the Saesang Plant—and unveils the tragic backstory of Ashin, a marginalized woman from the Northern Jurchen borderlands. Ashin harbors a deep-seated desire for vengeance after her entire village is betrayed and massacred.
