Kingyo Tsuma

Based on the manga series by Kurosawa R, "Kingyo Tsuma" follows Sakura Hiraga, a woman living in a luxury high-rise apartment who is trapped in an abusive marriage with her salon-owning husband. Unable to leave her life of luxury, she finds solace and a sense of freedom when she purchases a goldfish and meets Haruto, a kind goldfish store owner. This chance encounter sparks an intense affair that unlocks her suppressed desires and leads her down a path of emotional and physical liberation. The series weaves together multiple interconnected storylines involving various women living in the same apartment complex, each dealing with their own marital struggles, secrets, and taboo romances. As societal expectations clash with raw human passions, the show explores themes of loneliness, empowerment, infidelity, and the search for authentic love in modern-day Tokyo.
