Set in the 1980s, the story follows Takashi Mitsuhashi, a high school student who decides to reinvent himself as a delinquent upon transferring to a new school. With his signature blonde perm and a cunning, self-serving personality, he teams up with the righteous and spike-haired Shinji Ito. Together, the duo navigates the chaotic world of high school gang rivalries, constantly finding themselves in absurd and dangerous situations while trying to maintain their reputation as the toughest guys in town. As they rise through the ranks of the local delinquent scene, Mitsuhashi and Ito face off against various rival gangs, bullies, and teachers. Despite their contrasting personalities—Mitsuhashi’s cowardly but crafty nature versus Ito’s unwavering sense of justice—the two form an unbreakable bond. The series blends slapstick comedy, over-the-top action, and nostalgic 80s aesthetics to depict their hilarious and action-packed quest to become the ultimate legends of their school.
