La querida del Centauro follows the life of Yolanda Acosta, a beautiful and intelligent woman who becomes the mistress of Benedictino García, known as 'El Centauro', one of the most dangerous and powerful drug traffickers in Mexico. After being imprisoned, Yolanda finds herself caught in a complex web of power, betrayal, and survival as she attempts to escape the clutches of the cartel leader who remains obsessed with her. As the series progresses, Yolanda teams up with Gerardo Cuesta, a detective committed to bringing down El Centauro. The narrative explores the psychological toll of living in the shadow of a criminal kingpin, the constant threat of violence, and the moral ambiguity of those fighting to dismantle a criminal empire. The conflict intensifies as El Centauro stops at nothing to reclaim his 'property,' forcing Yolanda to navigate a dangerous game of cat and mouse where trust is a luxury she cannot afford.
