Cinema & TelevisionLast Man Standing follows Mike Baxter, a senior executive and director of marketing for an iconic outdoor sporting goods store called Outdoor Man. A rugged, traditionalist man living in a house surrounded by women, Mike struggles to maintain his masculinity while raising three daughters alongside his wife, Vanessa. The series explores the generational and ideological clashes between Mike’s conservative, old-school values and the more progressive, modern perspectives of his family and coworkers. As the series progresses, the dynamics shift as the daughters grow up, marry, and navigate their own careers and families. The show frequently utilizes Mike’s video blog segments to provide social commentary on current events, often serving as the comedic centerpiece of the episodes.
