Shoko Takanashi is a former lawyer who lost her license under mysterious circumstances. Despite being stripped of her legal credentials, she remains undeterred and possesses a sharp, unconventional mind. She establishes a small, ragtag law firm called 'Kyogoku Law Office,' recruiting a team of misfit lawyers and paralegals to take on cases that the major, prestigious law firms refuse to touch. As the series progresses, Shoko navigates the complexities of the Japanese legal system, often using unorthodox methods to uncover the truth and defeat powerful corporate adversaries. The central conflict revolves around her past, specifically her rivalry with the powerful Felix & Maemura Law Firm, as she seeks to clear her name and expose the corruption that led to her disbarment.
