Loki, the God of Mischief, steps out of his brother's shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. After stealing the Tesseract during the 2012 timeline heist, Loki is apprehended by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space to monitor the timeline and prevent the creation of multiversal branches. He is given a choice: face deletion from existence or help the TVA fix the timeline and stop a greater threat. As Loki navigates the complex bureaucracy of the TVA, he encounters various variants of himself, most notably Sylvie, a female variant who seeks to dismantle the organization. The series explores themes of identity, free will, and destiny as Loki evolves from a self-serving villain into a complex hero grappling with the weight of the multiverse. The conflict escalates as the truth behind the TVA's creation is revealed, threatening the stability of all reality.
