Madagascar: A Little Wild

Madagascar: A Little Wild is an animated musical comedy series that serves as a prequel to the popular Madagascar film franchise. The story follows the childhood adventures of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo, who reside in a rescue habitat at the Central Park Zoo. Despite being young, the quartet is full of energy and curiosity, often finding themselves in humorous predicaments as they explore the world beyond their enclosure. Throughout the series, the friends learn valuable life lessons about friendship, self-discovery, and the importance of staying true to oneself. While they dream of the 'wild' outside, they navigate the challenges of growing up in a controlled environment, relying on their unique personalities and unbreakable bond to overcome obstacles. The show features original musical numbers that highlight the characters' aspirations and the fun-filled chaos of their daily lives in New York City.
