Man from the Equator

Man from the Equator is a gripping melodrama that delves into the complex relationship between two friends whose lives are irrevocably altered by tragedy, betrayal, and ambition. Kim Sun-woo, a rebellious high school student, and Lee Jang-il, a brilliant yet impoverished model student, form an unlikely bond. However, a catastrophic event orchestrated by greed and betrayal shatters their friendship, leaving Sun-woo physically blinded and presumed dead. Years later, Sun-woo returns as a wealthy and successful businessman, fueled by an unquenchable thirst for revenge against those who wronged him, particularly Jang-il, who has now risen to become a successful senior prosecutor. As their paths cross once again, a tense psychological game of cat-and-mouse ensues, testing the boundaries of forgiveness, fate, and redemption against lingering feelings of past love and brotherhood.
