Mar de Amor

Mar de Amor is a Mexican telenovela produced by Nathalie Lartilleux for Televisa. The story follows Estrella Marina, a sweet, rebellious, and free-spirited young woman living in a small coastal fishing village. Orphaned at a young age and raised by her godparents, Estrella's life is upended when she falls in love with Víctor Manuel Galindez, a mature, world-weary marine biologist who returns to Playa Escondida to escape his troubled past. Their romance faces fierce opposition from various antagonists, most notably the ruthless and wealthy León Parra Ibáñez, who harbors dark secrets regarding Estrella's past, and the obsessive Oriana Parra, León's spoiled daughter. Complicating matters further is Coral, a mysterious woman who returns from the dead claiming to be Víctor Manuel's lost love, driving a wedge between the couple. As Estrella journeys from an innocent coastal girl to a successful, educated woman seeking justice, she must navigate a tempest of betrayal, hidden identities, and deep family secrets before finding true love.
