Blade: The Series is a live-action television continuation of the Blade film franchise, following the half-human, half-vampire 'Daywalker' as he continues his relentless crusade against the vampire underworld. Set in Detroit, the series explores Blade's complex struggle to balance his thirst for blood with his mission to eradicate the vampire race, while navigating a world where vampires have integrated into human society through sophisticated corporate structures. The narrative centers on Krista Starr, a young woman who returns from military service in Iraq only to discover her twin brother has been murdered. Her investigation leads her into the dark, hidden world of the vampire House of Chthon. As Blade intervenes to stop the vampires' new experiments, he and Krista form an uneasy alliance, forcing her to infiltrate the vampire hierarchy while Blade battles both the supernatural threats and his own internal demons.
