Middleman's Love

Middleman's Love follows Jade, a graphic designer who has always felt like he lives in the shadow of everyone else. Because of his plain appearance and average personality, he is constantly overlooked or used as the 'middleman' by people trying to get close to his more attractive friends or colleagues. Tired of being the permanent background character in his own life, Jade vows to protect his peace and avoid complicated romantic entanglements. However, his safe, ordinary world is completely upended when a handsome, charismatic new client named Mai enters the picture. While Jade initially assumes Mai is interested in his charming coworker, it soon becomes clear that Mai's relentless attention and affection are directed squarely at him. As Jade struggles with his deep-seated insecurities and fear of heartbreak, he must learn to believe that he, too, is worthy of being someone's first choice.
