Minami-ke follows the daily lives of the three Minami sisters—Haruka, Kana, and Chiaki—who live together in a suburban house. The eldest, Haruka, is responsible and acts as the mother figure of the household, managing chores and keeping her younger sisters in line. The middle sister, Kana, is energetic, mischievous, and often comes up with hare-brained schemes, frequently dragging others into her antics. The youngest, Chiaki, is sharp-tongued, stoic, and fiercely devoted to Haruka while looking down on Kana's foolishness. Together with their eccentric classmates, neighbors, and friends, the series explores the comedic, heartwarming, and mundane moments of their everyday school and home lives.
