Based on the popular Japanese manga series of the same name by Yuu Watase, 'My Absolute Boyfriend' follows Uhm Da-da, a special effects makeup artist who has built an emotional wall around herself after a painful breakup with her secret top-star boyfriend, Ma Wang-joon. Her life is turned upside down when a humanoid robot named Zero-Nine, designed to be the ultimate devoted boyfriend, is mistakenly delivered to her instead of a wealthy client. As Da-da attempts to return the android, she finds herself reluctantly drawn to his unwavering loyalty, unconditional love, and growing capacity for genuine human emotion. Meanwhile, Wang-joon regrets his past actions and tries to win Da-da back, leading to a complex love triangle between a human struggling with heartbreak and a machine programmed to love only her. Tensions rise further as corporate sabotage threatens Zero-Nine's existence, forcing everyone involved to question the true boundaries of love, humanity, and artificial intelligence.
