Kang Mi-rae is a young woman who has suffered from low self-esteem and bullying due to her appearance since childhood. Determined to start a fresh life in university, she undergoes extensive plastic surgery to transform her face. However, her new look leads to her being mockingly labeled a 'Gangnam Beauty,' a derogatory term for women who have had obvious cosmetic procedures. As she navigates the complexities of college life, she encounters Do Kyung-seok, a handsome and aloof student who attended the same middle school as her. Unlike others who judge Mi-rae based on her artificial appearance, Kyung-seok sees past the surgery to the person she truly is. Together, they confront societal pressures, the superficiality of beauty standards, and the manipulative schemes of their peers, ultimately learning to embrace their authentic selves.
