My Lawyer, Mr. Jo Season 1

My Lawyer, Mr. Jo follows the story of Jo Deul-ho, a brilliant prosecutor who once had a promising career and a happy life. However, after witnessing corruption within the legal system and refusing to turn a blind eye, he is framed for a crime he did not commit. Stripped of his position, his reputation, and his family, he hits rock bottom and disappears from the public eye for three years. He eventually returns as a neighborhood lawyer, operating out of a small, humble office. Armed with his sharp legal mind and a newfound empathy for the downtrodden, he takes on cases that the powerful and corrupt would rather keep buried. Alongside his dedicated assistant Lee Eun-jo, he battles against corporate greed and systemic injustice, proving that even a small-town lawyer can challenge the giants of society.
