Takeo Gouda is a giant of a high school student, standing over two meters tall and weighing over 100 kilograms. While he is incredibly popular with his male classmates due to his kind heart and heroic nature, he has never had luck with girls, as they always seem to fall for his handsome and cool best friend, Makoto Sunakawa. Takeo has resigned himself to his fate, believing he will never find a girlfriend of his own. Everything changes when Takeo saves a sweet, petite girl named Rinko Yamato from a groper on a train. To his surprise, Rinko begins to show interest in him, leading to a series of heartwarming and often hilarious misunderstandings. As Takeo navigates his first romance, he must overcome his own insecurities and the disbelief of those around him, ultimately discovering that love is not about appearance, but about the connection between two souls.
