Overview

Shan Wu-shuang is a successful, 33-year-old senior news reporter who is fiercely independent, dedicated to her work, and comfortably single, though society labels her a "defeated dog" (a metaphor for an older, unmarried career woman). Lucas Sung is a 25-year-old part-time worker who juggles multiple odd jobs and is still haunted by the tragic death of his ex-girlfriend. When their paths cross through a series of hilarious and chaotic encounters, an unexpected chemistry sparks despite their eight-year age gap. As their relationship deepens, Wu-shuang finds herself torn between the charming younger man who accepts her entirely and her former college sweetheart, Mark, who suddenly returns after many years abroad with intentions of rekindling their past.
