My Spring Days tells the emotional and poignant story of Lee Bom-yi, a woman who receives a heart transplant and undergoes a dramatic transformation in personality and outlook on life, adopting the warm and energetic traits of her donor. She crosses paths with Kang Dong-ha, a grieving widower and CEO of a livestock company whose deceased wife was the very donor who saved Bom-yi's life. As Bom-yi and Dong-ha grow closer, they experience cellular memory—unexplained emotional ties and physical reactions that draw them together against all odds. However, their growing romance is met with complex family resistance, moral dilemmas, and the haunting reality of the past, forcing them to navigate whether their love is truly their own or a lingering echo of a heart that once beat for another.
