Oh My Geum-bi

Oh My Geum Bi follows the life of Mo Geum-bi, a bright and precocious eight-year-old girl who suffers from Niemann-Pick disease, a rare condition often referred to as childhood Alzheimer's. After being abandoned by her mother, she tracks down her estranged father, Mo Hwi-chul, a small-time con artist who is completely unprepared for the responsibilities of fatherhood. As Geum-bi begins to lose her memory, the two embark on a poignant journey of healing, redemption, and unconditional love. As Hwi-chul struggles to care for his daughter, he undergoes a profound transformation, shifting from a selfish man living on the fringes of society to a devoted father willing to sacrifice everything for her. Along the way, they encounter Go Kang-hee, an introverted woman who becomes a vital part of their makeshift family. The series explores themes of family, the fragility of memory, and the enduring power of the bond between a parent and child in the face of an inevitable tragedy.
