Ordeal by Innocence

Adapted from Agatha Christie's classic mystery novel, the story begins with the brutal murder of wealthy philanthropist Rachel Argyll at her family estate, Sunny Point. Her adopted son, Jack Argyll, is arrested for the crime and vehemently protests his innocence, only to die in prison while awaiting trial. Eighteen months later, a mysterious stranger named Dr. Arthur Calgary arrives at Sunny Point with undeniable proof of Jack's alibi, blowing the case wide open. As Calgary reveals that one of the remaining members of the Argyll family is the actual killer, long-buried secrets, deep-seated resentments, and dark motives begin to surface among the surviving adoptive siblings and staff, plunging the household into paranoia and mutual suspicion.
