Osmosis

Set in a near-future Paris, Osmosis follows the development of a revolutionary dating app that promises to find its users their perfect soulmate by mining their brain data. Created by siblings Esther and Paul Vanhove, the technology uses nanobots to access deep subconscious memories and desires, guaranteeing a 100% success rate in finding true love. However, the pursuit of this algorithmic perfection comes with a dark, hidden price that threatens the sanity and privacy of its test subjects. As the beta testing phase begins, the series explores the ethical dilemmas and psychological consequences of relying on technology to dictate human connection. The narrative delves into the complex relationship between the creators, the corporate interests backing the project, and the volunteers who are willing to surrender their most intimate secrets for the promise of eternal happiness. As the system begins to malfunction and reveal unintended side effects, the line between digital salvation and human destruction begins to blur.
