Our Girl is a British television military drama series that follows the lives of female medics in the British Army. The series began as a one-off feature-length drama before evolving into a multi-season show. It centers on the intense experiences of soldiers deployed to various conflict zones, exploring the physical and psychological toll of war, the complexities of military life, and the personal sacrifices made by those serving on the front lines. Throughout its run, the series shifts focus from Molly Dawes, a young woman from a troubled background who finds purpose in the Royal Army Medical Corps, to Georgie Lane, an experienced army medic who faces dangerous missions and personal turmoil across deployments in Kenya, Nepal, and Bangladesh. The show balances high-stakes action sequences with character-driven narratives, examining themes of loyalty, trauma, and the bonds formed under fire.
