Outmatched is a multi-camera sitcom that follows a blue-collar couple, Mike and Cay, living in Atlantic City as they attempt to raise four children, three of whom are certified geniuses. The series explores the comedic disconnect between the parents' average intelligence and their children's high-level cognitive abilities, often leaving the parents feeling out of their depth when trying to navigate everyday parenting challenges. As Mike and Cay struggle to keep up with their kids' complex academic and social lives, they rely on their own street smarts and humor to maintain a sense of normalcy. The show highlights the chaotic, heartwarming, and often absurd dynamics of a family where the children are frequently the ones providing the logic, while the parents provide the love and the occasional reality check.
