Over Protective Kahoko

Kahoko Nemoto is a 21-year-old university student who has been raised in a suffocatingly sheltered environment by her overprotective mother, Izumi. Kahoko is so dependent on her mother that she cannot even choose her own clothes or navigate the commute to school without assistance, effectively remaining a child in an adult's body. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she meets Hajime Mugino, a struggling art student with a cynical outlook on life who was raised in an orphanage. As Kahoko begins to experience the complexities of the real world, she starts to rebel against her mother's control and discovers her own identity and hidden potential. The series explores the strained dynamics of the Nemoto family, the challenges of transitioning into adulthood, and the transformative power of love and independence. Through her journey, Kahoko learns that while her mother's love was intense, it was also a barrier to her growth, leading to a poignant exploration of family bonds and self-discovery.
