Pacific Blue is an American police drama series that follows a specialized unit of the Santa Monica Police Department. The officers patrol the beaches and boardwalks of Santa Monica, California, primarily on mountain bikes, allowing them to navigate the crowded tourist areas and sandy terrain more effectively than traditional patrol cars. The series blends high-stakes police procedural elements with the personal lives and romantic entanglements of the officers. Throughout its five-season run, the show focuses on the camaraderie and professional challenges faced by the team as they combat crime ranging from petty theft and drug trafficking to complex murder investigations. Led by the stoic T.C. Callaway, the unit deals with internal department politics, the physical demands of their unique patrol methods, and the evolving dynamics of their close-knit group as members come and go.
