Pegasus Market

Pegasus Market follows the chaotic and hilarious events at a failing supermarket that serves as a subsidiary of the large Daema Group. Jung Bok-dong, a brilliant yet demoted executive seeking revenge against the conglomerate for his unfair exile, takes over as the CEO of the store with the explicit goal of running it into the ground. However, his counterintuitive, absurd business strategies—such as hiring eccentric misfits and treating employees like royalty—surprisingly backfire into massive commercial success, much to his utter dismay. Simultaneously, Moon Suk-goo, a well-meaning and anxious manager desperately trying to save the store from bankruptcy, constantly clashes with Bok-dong's bizarre ideas. As the idiosyncratic staff, including an indigenous tribe of rock musicians and former gang members, bond together, the supermarket transforms into a bizarre cultural phenomenon. The series explores themes of corporate satire, found family, and absurd workplace comedy, highlighting the triumph of underdogs in the unlikeliest of circumstances.
