Psycho-Pass

Set in a 22nd-century Japan where the Sibyl System—a powerful network of psychometric scanners—quantifies the mental state, personality, and probability of criminal behavior of every citizen, the story follows the operations of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division. Akane Tsunemori, a novice Inspector with a strong sense of justice, is partnered with Shinya Kogami, an Enforcer—a latent criminal forced to do the dirty work of hunting down other threats. As they delve deeper into their cases, they uncover dark, systemic flaws within the seemingly utopian society and confront a mastermind named Shogo Makishima who operates outside the system's reach.
